Norwegian Raspeballer

As part of my products to my customers, I offer translations of Norwegian recipes that will be sent electronically to buyers. These they can enjoy while waiting for their purchase to arrive via ordinary mail.

One of the very traditional recipes that I offer is Raspeballer. These are potato dumplings that are still very much in fashion. Traditionally they are eaten with turnip/swede/rutabaga different types of salted meat: lamb, bacon, sausage, etc. After this, there are a number of different additons that can be found all over the country, depending upon which area you come from. Some families enjoy pea soup with this dish, others add sour cream and other still add syrup.

Whichever way you choose to eat your raspeballer, you can be guaranteed to be full and content for hours afterward!

What a great idea to send a recepy of a traditional recepy to your customers while they're waiting.
Wil try your dumplings one day, that's for sure!

krap - I am counting on pulling in the huge population with membership to SONS OF NORWAY. :) There are 10 million people in the USA that still claim to speak Norwegian. And most of the people in the Sons of Norway cannot speak Norwegian...... so.....

aha, I see Nicole; that's clever. So there are more "Norwegians" living in the USA as in Norway (4 million I believe) ? Are they also so "nationalistic" ? I mean god gammel norsk ....

They are more Norwegian than those living here!
