Norway In the European Melodi Grand Prix

I am not usually a huge fan of the European Melodi Grand Prix. I do watch it, usually moving in and out of the living room to fold a load of laundry, unload the dishwasher, etc. It seems to me that the 'talent' aspect of the competition has disappeared in the 10 years that I've living in this country. I accept the fact that looks and the selling of sex will always sway voters in competitions such as these, but in the last years it seems that a lot of good looking ladies with perhaps not the best talent have made their way to the top.

But now, now there is a new young hottie from Norway who actually can play music. And who can sing. And he's got some talented modern Halling dancers behind him. Those dancers don't just have pretty faces.

Oh.... if I was 17 again.

I am not easily impressed but boy he knows his stuff as do the dancers! Now all he has to do is lose the dumb blonds and it is superb!

Rybak. I wonder if I can remember that name! Very fun clip! did he win? hope he did. I love the use of the violin like that. Though it is odd when a singer sings about when he was "younger" and you look and think... how?
